Composting Made Simple — 12 Printable Pages

No activators, no magic powders, no guilt. This guide explains compost the way it actually works — you're feeding a workforce of microbes — then walks you through the browns-and-greens balance, choosing between a pile, a bin, or a tumbler, building your first pile, and fixing every common problem with the boring fix that works. Inside: how compost works; browns & greens lists and the forgiving 3-to-1 rule; pile vs. bin vs. tumbler; the keep-these-out list; building your first pile step by step; water, air & turning; a troubleshooting table (smells, flies, ants, rodents — all fixable); winter composting for cold climates; when it's done; how to use finished compost; and a compost log page. Specs: 12 pages, US Letter (8.5x11) printable PDF, instant download, personal use, print at 100%.
